Film Commission Zurich

We are the Film Commission Zurich, founded in 2016 as an association and central point of contact for national and international film and commissioned productions. Our goal is to create the best filming conditions in the city and canton of Zurich.

We are committed to ensuring that filming in Zurich runs as smoothly as possible. To this end, we conduct research, provide information, offer financial support, and open doors to our strong network in administration, business, and industry. In this way, we create the best conditions for successful productions in Zurich.

As a member of the European Film Commissions Network (EUFCN), the Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI), and the board of the Switzerland Film Commission, we have excellent national and international connections within the industry. We also regularly represent Zurich as a filming location at international film festivals and film markets, showcasing the qualities of Zurich as a film location.

Zurich offers everything you need for successful production

Dino Malacarne has been Managing Director of the Film Commission Zurich since 2023. Prior to this, he worked for many years in film licensing in the DACH region and has extensive experience in distribution and production. In addition to his work at the Film Commission Zurich, he is a member of the board of the Switzerland Film Commission and is committed to promoting Switzerland as a film location.
