We also fancy our diverse canton. You can find countless spots with an excellent distant view where you will catch sight of lakes and majestic snowy mountain chains. In the north is the sparsely populated Zurich wine country that is keeping its rural character. So does the pre-alpine Zurich highlands (Zurich Oberland) in the southeast of the canton. In the west you can find the Zurich lowlands (Zurich Unterland), where little places like Wehntal or Rafzerfeld are situated even beyond the inner agglomeration of the city. Zurich incorporates everything the filmmaker’s heart desires: city, countryside and agglomeration in all characteristics.
